We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Isleworth, Hounslow from April 2026. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a committed Year 2 Class Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners and making a positive impact during a crucial stage of their education.
This nurturing primary setting provides education for children from early years, including nursery, through to age 11. Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community as a Year 2 Class Teacher
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally as a Year 2 Class Teacher
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
