PPA Cover Teacher | September Location: Southwark Start Date: September 2025 Full or part-time, 3- 5 days per week Salary: Inner, M1 – £36,745 – M6 – £50,288 Are you a confident Class Teacher with strong classroom management skills, looking for a new challenge? If so, we want to hear from you. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be required to: Teach classes during PPA or other release sessions across the school from Nursery to Year 6 Understand and be able to use a range of strategies to deal with classroom behaviour as a whole and also individual behavioural needs; to promote effective behaviour. Provide a calm, constructive working environment to enable the pupils to carry out the planned work/activities in the absence of the class teacher. Promote the inclusion of all pupils. Assess, monitor, record and report on the subjects of lessons taught, feeding back to the class teacher Mark any completed work in accordance with the marking policy. Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies within the class, according to the school\’s policies and procedures.
