Teach Plus is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge. This 2-form entry school has a strong community ethos, a supportive leadership team, and a commitment to high standards in both academic and personal development. They are now seeking a KS2 Teacher to teach a mixed-age class (Years 3-5) two days per week from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is confident with mixed-age teaching and looking to maintain work-life balance in a part-time role. Shared planning support will be provided.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a mixed Year 3-5 class
  • Use assessment to inform planning and ensure all pupils make progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
  • Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of pupils across three year groups
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and share best practice
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school team
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including any relevant meetings or events

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and confident multi-year group planning
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (mixed-age class experience desirable)
  • Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
  • UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • The right to work in the UK
