About the role/school
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant, supportive primary school in Newham from January. Job Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist with learning activities across the curriculum, including literacy and numeracy
- Help develop pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement tailored learning strategies
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Qualifications/Experience
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of supporting pupils with additional needs or SEND is desirable
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
