About the role and school

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and high‑achieving primary school in Lambeth from September 2026. The school's core values are built around Achievement, Respectfulness, and Caring.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as a Year 6 Teacher in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure high achievement outcomes
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum planning and share best practices
  • Maintain strong behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
  • Experience as a Class Teacher or in a similar role
  • Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
