About the role/school

Teach Plus are currently working with a friendly and supportive 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest who are looking for a dedicated SATs Booster Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident delivering targeted interventions and booster sessions, supporting pupils to make strong progress in the lead-up to SATs. Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver small group booster sessions focused on SATs preparation (primarily Maths and English)
  • Support pupils with targeted interventions in reading, writing, SPaG, and arithmetic
  • Work closely with the class teacher to identify gaps in learning and track progress
  • Provide 1:1 support where required, adapting work to meet individual needs
  • Help build pupil confidence and improve exam technique through structured practice
  • Support classroom learning when not delivering interventions
  • Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment

Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils (ideally Year 6)
  • Confident delivering interventions and SATs-focused booster sessions
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly English and Maths
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or EAL is desirable
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
