Teaching Assistant September 2025

Location: Acton, Ealing

Full-time 5 days/week – Salary based on experience

Teach Plus are currently working with a 3-form entry, diverse and vibrant primary school who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception or Nursery Class from September 2025.

The school is an inclusive school that is rich in culture, dedicated teachers and teaching assistants work to the highest standards to ensure pupils have the very best learning opportunities and build strong relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues.

You will be required to support in class as well as running small intervention groups and speech and language intervention activities. You\’ll also be required to keep records of student progress. The role is a full-time, ongoing position, 8.15am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:

  • Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
  • Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
  • Support the lead teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and document the progress of each child and communicate observations to the lead teacher
  • Run effective small intervention groups
  • Run speech and language and occupational therapy activities
  • Use iPad for TAPESTRY

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CACHE Level 3 or Level 3 in Supporting and Teaching in Learning
  • Experience working in an EYFS setting
  • Experience running intervention groups
  • A flexible, proactive attitude who are passionate about improving the environment and learning for all pupils
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
