About the role/school

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join an Outstanding (Ofsted 2025) early years setting in West London. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work alongside an Early Years Teacher and another Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children aged two to four. This Early Years Practitioner role offers a nurturing, research-led environment that blends structured learning with play-based exploration. The setting is known for its inclusive ethos, reserving places for bursary children, and for maintaining high staff satisfaction through strong professional development and support. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to grow within a setting that values curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development as an Early Years Practitioner
  • Help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging environment
  • Assist with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory guidance at all times
  • Work closely with colleagues on planning and daily routines
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  • Support children with transitions and any additional needs

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience working with children under five
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Right to work in the UK
