Job Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS learning activities
- Deliver targeted phonics interventions and support early reading development
- Assist with planning and preparing stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support children's progress and wellbeing
- Monitor and record children's learning and development, providing feedback to the class teacher
- Encourage independence, curiosity and positive behaviour through effective classroom support
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Experience teaching Phonics
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
