We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Newham from April. The Year 4 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the National Curriculum with a particular focus on developing core literacy and numeracy skills. Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to KS2 curriculum expectations
- Deliver high quality English, Maths, and foundation subject teaching
- Support pupil progress through effective assessment strategies
- Manage classroom behaviour positively and professionally
- Support SEND and EAL pupils within the classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior staff
- Prepare pupils for transition into upper KS2
- Contribute to the wider school community
The Year 4 Teacher will play a key role in ensuring pupils make strong academic progress during their time in Year 4.
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
