About the role/school
We are working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, rated Ofsted Good, to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher. This is a full-time role starting in February, providing an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative school environment. Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Year 3 in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress effectively.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement.
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching KS2 pupils (Year 3 experience preferred).
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
