Key Responsibilities - SEND Teaching Assistant- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Support pupils in working towards their EHCP targets
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Implement behaviour management strategies consistently
- Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, or within a SEND setting
- Strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting children
- Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Competitive daily pay (Β£108-Β£112 per day)
