About the role and school
Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Edgware that is looking for a reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher to provide cover across the school.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Primary Supply Teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff. The school has a supportive environment and is looking for someone who can confidently step into a classroom and deliver engaging lessons.
The role can offer flexibility for teachers looking for regular supply work, with opportunities for both planned and short-notice cover. You will be supported by Teach Plus throughout your placement and will have access to a range of primary teaching opportunities across North West London.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Follow existing lesson plans and school expectations
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different pupils
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Complete appropriate classroom and safeguarding responsibilities
- Provide feedback to school staff where required
- Be flexible and confident when working across different year groups
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to quickly adapt to different school environments
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Available for regular or flexible supply work
