We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest this April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Nursery Teacher to work within a supportive Early Years team in a well-established, two-form entry primary school.

The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, question and develop a lifelong love of learning. The successful Nursery Teacher will be joining a collaborative staff team who value creativity, high expectations and strong relationships with families.

This Nursery Teacher role would suit someone who is confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum and has a strong understanding of early child development. Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework as a Nursery Teacher
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, track and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Early Years, ideally as a Nursery Teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A nurturing and patient approach
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
