About the role and school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets that is looking to appoint a committed Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher from January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' academic progress and create a positive classroom environment. The successful candidate will be confident delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum, assessing pupil attainment and adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs.
The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, encourage a love of learning and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure children receive the support and challenge they need to succeed.
Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual needs and abilities

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress

Identify gaps in learning and implement appropriate interventions
-
Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement

Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Work closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues

Communicate with parents and carers where appropriate

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Qualifications/Experience
-
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is essential

Experience teaching within a primary school setting

Good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Strong lesson planning, assessment and behaviour management skills

Ability to differentiate lessons and support different abilities
-
A positive, organised and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills
