Ad Hoc SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP Location: Newham Ad Hoc / Flexible Supply Salary: £108 per day About the role and school Teach Plus are currently working with primary schools across Newham who require reliable and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for ad hoc supply work. This is an excellent opportunity for an Ad Hoc SEN Teaching Assistant who is looking for flexible work around their existing commitments while gaining experience across a range of primary school settings. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, working within small groups or providing general classroom support depending on the needs of the school. Previous experience working with pupils with SEND is highly desirable. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be reliable, adaptable and confident stepping into different classroom environments at short notice. Job Responsibilities Provide effective support to pupils with SEND. Deliver 1:1 and small-group support where required. Assist pupils in accessing classroom learning. Support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development. Work alongside teachers and other support staff.
