About the role/school
We are working with a welcoming and supportive two-form entry, Ofsted-rated Good primary school in Waltham Forest to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher. The school has a strong, collaborative staff team and a leadership structure that is particularly supportive of teachers in the early stages of their career, making this a fantastic opportunity for ECTs — while remaining equally suitable for more experienced teachers. The successful Primary Class Teacher will join a well-organised school with clear behaviour expectations, shared planning, and a strong focus on staff development and wellbeing. On-site parking is available, making the school easily accessible for staff travelling by car.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
