Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to pupils with additional needs.
- Adapt and differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning requirements.
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external agencies to deliver effective interventions.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing feedback and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence in pupils.
- Manage behaviour effectively, using strategies that foster a supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community, upholding the inclusive ethos and values.
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Knowledge of effective strategies to support language, communication, and emotional regulation.
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse needs.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
