Supply Teaching Assistant – Brent Location: Brent, London Pay: £90–£100 per day Contract: Part Time, Temporary / Supply Start Date: September 2026 Teach Now is looking for enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants in Brent to support local primary schools from September. This flexible role is ideal for experienced teaching assistants who enjoy variety and want the opportunity to work across different schools, classes and age groups. Assignments may involve general classroom support, small-group work, 1:1 support or helping pupils with additional learning needs. Responsibilities Support teachers with the delivery of engaging classroom activities. Work with individual pupils and small groups. Help children develop their literacy and numeracy skills. Support pupils with SEN where required. Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence. Help prepare resources and maintain an organised learning environment. Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies. Requirements Previous experience supporting children, ideally within a UK school. A Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 qualification is desirable but not essential where suitable experience is demonstrated. A patient, positive and proactive approach. Good spoken and written English. Ability to adapt quickly between schools and year groups. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one. Right to work in the UK. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
