Teach Now is looking for a dynamic KS2 Teacher to join an inclusive Brent primary school for a long-term September placement. This is a role for a teacher who enjoys bringing energy to the curriculum while keeping expectations clear and purposeful. The school requires someone who can motivate pupils, build strong learning habits and ensure that children of different abilities can succeed within the same classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Securing progress in English and mathematics
- Supporting pupils to become increasingly independent learners
- Using assessment and feedback to move learning forward
- Adapting lessons for SEND and additional learning needs
- Maintaining effective behaviour and classroom routines
- Working closely with support staff and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The successful KS2 Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Recent UK KS2 teaching experience
- Strong curriculum knowledge
- High expectations for pupil achievement
- Effective behaviour-management skills
- A flexible and collaborative approach
