Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the Role:
Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant (TA) looking for a fulfilling and dynamic role? We have a fantastic opportunity at a highly regarded primary school in Barnet for a strong TA with SEN experience. This is a full-time role split between two key areas of support:
Mornings: General Key Stage 2 (KS2) support, assisting with class activities, interventions, and small-group work to help students excel.
Afternoons: 1:1 SEN support in Reception, working closely with a student who shows signs of ADHD and challenging behaviour, helping them engage and progress in their learning.
This role is perfect for a resilient, patient, and caring TA who can provide structure and encouragement to students while adapting to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general classroom support in KS2, assisting with lessons, interventions, and small group activities
• Offer 1:1 SEN support in Reception, helping a student with ADHD develop learning and social skills
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning plans and provide tailored support
• Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in all students
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with SEN students, particularly ADHD and challenging behaviour
• Previous TA experience in primary settings, preferably in both KS2 and EYFS
• A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
• A passion for inclusive education and helping every child reach their potential
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
