Teach Now is looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join our network of wonderful schools across Havering. Whether you’re seeking ad hoc daily supply or longer-term placements, this is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying the flexibility to work when it suits you. The Opportunity As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the chance to work across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 settings, supporting children of varying ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, who enjoys variety, and wants to make a positive impact in multiple school communities. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities. • Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to boost learning outcomes. • Following safeguarding guidelines and school policies at all times. • Building strong relationships with staff and pupils. About You We are seeking individuals who have: • Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting. • A sound knowledge of the primary curriculum. • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work. • A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
