Teach Now is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to bring practical investigation, curiosity and strong subject knowledge into a Hertfordshire secondary classroom. You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils understand not only the facts and formulas but also how scientific ideas connect to the world around them.
The role:
- Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons at KS3.
- Teach your specialist science at GCSE level where appropriate.
- Plan practical and theory-based learning.
- Prepare pupils for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Track progress and adapt teaching to address misconceptions.
- Maintain safe and purposeful practical lessons.
About you:
- UK QTS or recognised equivalent.
- Strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general Science.
- Secondary-school teaching experience or strong ECT placements.
- Secure understanding of the relevant curriculum.
- Strong classroom management.
