You will combine practical cookery with nutrition and food science, helping pupils develop creativity, independence and informed eating habits. Food Preparation and Nutrition sits within Design and Technology at Key Stage 3, with a Year 9 elective offering opportunities to deepen pupils interest. Maintain a safe, organised classroom with clear routines and positive behaviour. Collaborate with departmental colleagues and contribute to form tutoring, pastoral support and wider school activities. Requirements QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Food Preparation and Nutrition across Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong practical cookery, nutrition and food science knowledge. A creative, adaptable approach, clear communication and confident practical-classroom management.
