SEN Teaching Assistant in Year 1 – Acton

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community in Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in their learning and development, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Role

  • Hours: 8:15am – 4:15pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Start Date: 15th September 2025
  • Salary: £90 per day (SEN TA pay scale)
  • Year Groups: 1, 2 or 3

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across the classroom. A key part of the role will also involve delivering targeted interventions with SEND pupils. There is potential for 1:1 support with a Year 1 pupil who has severe learning difficulties, is non-verbal, and currently undergoing ASD assessment. The final structure of responsibilities will depend on your skills and experience.
