Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that promote communication, engagement, and independence
  • Lead and inspire a team of Teaching Assistants within your classroom
  • Work closely with specialist teachers, therapists, and school leaders to develop an inclusive curriculum
  • Build positive relationships with families and carers to support holistic development
  • Engage actively in school events and wider community activities
  • Teach pupils with severe learning difficulties across a diverse age range
  • Participate in ongoing training, including behaviour support and alternative communication methods (PECS, AAC, Makaton)
