About the role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting students in Key Stage 1 and 2, helping them navigate their learning journey, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. This long-term position is perfect for individuals passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives. Application Requirements: • Has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. • Demonstrates a patient and understanding approach to supporting children with SEN. • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Can work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members. • Holds relevant qualifications or significant experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities: • Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs. • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and adapting materials for SEN learners. • Monitoring student progress and reporting to the SENCO and class teacher. • Supporting students with sensory and behavioral challenges in and out of the classroom. • Helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for all students.
