The Role
As the Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school’s safeguarding processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the safeguarding inbox, ensuring timely responses and clear communication
- Overseeing the school’s filtering and monitoring system, allocating detentions when required
- Attending safeguarding meetings, including TAFs and professional strategy discussions
- Conducting pastoral check-ins with vulnerable students
- Making external agency referrals under the direction of the DSL
- Coordinating social worker visits and supporting wider pastoral operations
- Assisting with morning registration and supporting late-arriving students
