Teach Now is seeking an exceptional A-Level Economics Teacher to join a successful secondary school in St Albans. This specialist part-time role is ideal for an experienced teacher who can challenge high-achieving students and support them in working towards A and A* grades.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and academically challenging A-Level Economics lessons
- Teach Microeconomics and Macroeconomics with depth and clarity
- Develop students' analytical, evaluation and essay-writing skills
- Prepare students thoroughly for A-Level examinations
- Provide focused feedback to improve exam performance
- Use current economic developments to bring the subject to life
- Work collaboratively with the school's existing Economics team
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Strong and recent A-Level Economics teaching experience
- Excellent subject and examination-board knowledge
- Experience supporting students aiming for top grades
- The confidence to stretch academically able learners
- Availability on Monday and Wednesday mornings
High-level A-Level Economics experience is essential, as this position requires expertise beyond GCSE teaching.
