The RoleAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to accelerate progress.
- Help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
- Support literacy, numeracy and communication skills across the curriculum.
- Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Support classroom routines, learning activities and educational visits where required.
- Have a genuine passion for working with children.
- Be positive, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupil success.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable but not essential.
