Wraparound Care Setting & Activity Leaders – Barnet, London

Part-Time | Term-Time Only | Starting from £8,920 – £16,225 per year

Teach Now is excited to be recruiting Wraparound Care Setting Leaders and Activity/Play Leaders to join welcoming and energetic school-based settings across Mill Hill, Barnet and Whetstone. If you’re passionate about supporting children in safe, playful and enriching environments, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference every day.

Working during before- and after-school hours, you’ll help create a positive, nurturing start and end to the school day. This role offers excellent flexibility, meaningful hands-on experience, and the chance to bring your creativity to life through play, sports, arts and wellbeing activities. Additional paid hours may also be available during holiday camps.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
  • Supervise and support children aged 2–11, ensuring safety and wellbeing
  • Plan and deliver fun, stimulating activities that promote creativity and confidence
  • Prepare healthy snacks and maintain resources
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and school teams
  • Keep accurate records and uphold safeguarding and compliance standards
  • For Setting Leaders: supervise staff, support training and assist with inspection readiness

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first approach
  • Experience in childcare or wraparound settings (desirable)
  • Level 2+ Playwork/Early Years qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Willingness to undertake Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene training
