A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet. This full-time role is available immediately and will run until July, with the possibility of continuing into September for the right candidate. The school is a well-regarded two-form entry primary setting with a strong community feel, supportive leadership team and a consistently Good Ofsted rating.

About the Role

Working within a current Year 4 class, you will provide whole-class support alongside the class teacher while also delivering targeted interventions to small groups of pupils who require additional academic support. You will lead intervention sessions with groups of 2–6 pupils twice daily, helping children who have fallen behind in their learning to build confidence and make progress. Intervention subjects will vary and will be fully planned by the class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting pupils academically and making a measurable impact on their progress.
