We are working with a warm, welcoming primary school in Barnet that is looking for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team. This small, close-knit school caters for children aged 3–11 (including Nursery) and provides a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, develop confidence and celebrate their individuality. The school is proud of its Good Ofsted rating and supportive, inclusive culture. Although the school has a Jewish ethos, staff from all faiths and backgrounds are welcomed and valued.
About the Role
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning opportunities while providing targeted support for two children with ASD and ADHD. One child is minimally verbal and has a short attention span, so experience supporting children with additional needs in an Early Years setting is essential.
