As an Early Career Teacher (Maths), you will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, resilience and a love of problem-solving.
The Role
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where all students can succeed
- Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with experienced Maths teachers and subject leaders
- Develop engaging resources and contribute to schemes of work
- Support enrichment, pastoral care and the wider life of the school
- Participate fully in the school's ECT induction and CPD programme
The successful Early Career Teacher will:
- Hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status by September 2026
- Have a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Maths
- Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour
