Teach Now is seeking a knowledgeable KS2 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role in Ealing. This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys developing confident learners and understands how to combine clear instruction with opportunities for discussion, problem-solving and independent thinking. As the KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering consistently strong teaching while ensuring pupils with different starting points remain included and appropriately challenged.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering the KS2 curriculum
- Maintaining high expectations for attainment and progress
- Developing strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Using assessment and feedback effectively
- Differentiating for SEND, EAL and mixed attainment
- Creating a purposeful and positive classroom culture
- Working effectively with support staff
- Contributing to curriculum and phase planning
Requirements:
- QTS
- Strong recent experience teaching KS2
- Secure National Curriculum knowledge
- Evidence of effective pupil progress
- Confident behaviour and classroom management
- Excellent organisation and communication
- Commitment to safeguarding
