A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Haringey is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Upper Key Stage 2. The role will involve supporting Year 5 and Year 6 classes, with a particular focus on building positive relationships and providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
The Role- Provide whole-class support across Year 5 and Year 6
- Support pupils with ASD, social and emotional needs, and behavioural challenges
- Help pupils access learning through scaffolding, learning breaks and targeted interventions
- Build strong and trusting relationships with key pupils
- Support pupils with transition preparation moving into Year 7
- Assist with creative activities including the Year 6 production, music, drama and prop-making
