This is a full-time, temporary position working 8:30am–3:30pm, term time only, covering classes across the whole primary age range – from Nursery through to Year 6. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused and safe throughout the school day.

Your Role Will Include

  • Supervising classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during teacher absence
  • Managing behaviour confidently, including supporting pupils with high SEN needs
  • Adapting quickly to classes with varied abilities and learning styles
  • Creating a calm, positive and structured learning environment
  • Following school policies and working closely with support staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
  • Is resilient, flexible and confident working with challenging behaviour
  • Has experience supporting children with SEN
  • Enjoys working in a diverse, inclusive school community

Why This Role?

  • Competitive daily pay of £110–£120

  • Supportive staff team within a beautiful, well‑resourced school setting
  • A school culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion

If you’re looking for a dynamic role where no two days are the same and your classroom skills will truly shine, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The daily rate of £110–£120 is dependent on experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial classroom‑based experience and strong behaviour management skills, including supporting pupils with SEN.
