Nursery SEN Teaching Assistant (Mornings Only)
About the Role
Teach Now is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, nurturing early years setting in Hertford. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with special educational needs in the Early Years
- Assist the class teacher with planning, activities and targeted interventions
- Help create a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment
- Encourage independence, confidence and curiosity in young learners
- Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
- Work closely with staff, parents and external professionals
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and values
About You
- Experienced in Early Years or SEN support
- Patient, nurturing and dedicated to helping every child succeed
- Creative, proactive and able to use your initiative
- Passionate about early childhood education
- Supportive of a Christian/Catholic ethos
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to high-quality care
