Supply Teaching Assistant – Haringey

Location: Haringey, London

Pay: £90–£100 per day

Contract: Part Time, Temporary

Start Date: 1 September 2026

Put Your Classroom Experience Where It’s Needed Most

Some Teaching Assistants thrive on routine. Others are at their best walking into a new classroom, quickly understanding what pupils need and getting involved straight away.

If that sounds like you, Teach Now is recruiting experienced Supply Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Haringey.

This flexible Supply Teaching Assistant opportunity can include work across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and SEND support, giving you the chance to broaden your experience without committing to a full-time permanent role.

What schools will rely on you for:

  • Supporting learning from the moment you enter the classroom.
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group assistance.
  • Helping children stay focused and engaged.
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Reinforcing positive behaviour and school routines.
  • Working professionally alongside teachers and support staff.

What makes a great supply TA?

School-based experience, reliability, confidence and adaptability. You’ll need to be comfortable working with different age groups and able to establish relationships quickly. A relevant TA qualification or SEND experience would be an advantage.

What you’ll gain:

  • Competitive pay of £90–£100 per day, flexible part-time work and exposure to a variety of Haringey primary settings.
