Teach Now is recruiting a caring and reliable SEN Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will support students across Key Stages 3β5, helping them access learning, develop confidence and participate fully in school life.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEND
- Help students engage in lessons and access the curriculum
- Follow EHCPs and individual support strategies
- Deliver literacy, numeracy and personalised interventions
- Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion
- Monitor progress and work closely with teachers and the SENCO
About You
- Experience working with children or young people
- A patient, positive and inclusive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
School-based experience and knowledge of SEND, EHCPs, complex needs or behaviour support would be advantageous.
