Early Years Teacher – Barnet Position: Early Years Teacher Location: Barnet, North London Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary Start Date: 8 September 2026 Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum Email: About the Role Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Barnet. The school has a well-established Early Years provision where purposeful play, exploration and strong adult-child relationships are at the heart of learning. You will take responsibility for a Reception class, working alongside experienced teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team. The environment is well resourced, with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor learning, and the school places particular emphasis on communication, early literacy and helping children develop confidence and independence. The successful teacher will be expected to plan engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework, assess children’s development and build positive relationships with families. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent EYFS or Reception teaching experience. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework. Confident understanding of early phonics and language development.
