Teach Now are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to work in a primary school in the ever-growing area of Archway, North London. This is a fixed term role to commence from September 2022 and will run until the academic year with the possibility to go permanent after that.

Living in a multicultural era, the school is heavy on inclusivity and ensures each student is aware of religions, beliefs and cultures different to their own. The community is heavily invested in the school as it is a beacon of diversity and frequently involved with community events. Motivation is at the core of their ethos and they open every assembly with powerful words of encouragement.

The role is a general Key Stage 2 Teacher. You will be given a class in which you have to plan and prepare lessons for, maintain the marking of students' work, oversee in-class examinations, communicate across year groups with other teachers, and most importantly, encourage your students to reach the best of their ability. The chosen candidate must be able to commit to the role as continuity is key.

  • Confident in ensuring the child works towards their target by following their IEP
  • Able to adapt to all behavioural patterns
  • Dedicated, experienced and passionate about primary education
  • Creative and effective in their approach to teaching
  • Open to engage in further training in order to develop knowledge and understanding
  • DBS checked or happy to complete one
