A primary school based in Wood Green, Haringey, are looking to recruit an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support a boy in year 4. The boy has ASD and ADHD; therefore, this would suit someone with experience supporting these needs. He will need someone that can build rapport with him, be patient with him, and learn his behaviours to start recognising possible triggers for him. This is a long-term, full-time role that will commence ASAP.

Staff at this school are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. They are looking for the right person who is naturally passionate about SEN and will commit to the role.   • Ability to liaise with multi-professionals and the room leader
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement
  • Creative, enthusiastic, patient, and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
  • Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
