Teach Now are recruiting on behalf of an 11 β 16 year old alternative provision in Haringey for a SEN TA to work with an older boy with Autism. Previously, the student has reacted well to a male teaching assistant; therefore, the school are seeking a male for this role. The student is selective mute and will only communicate with those he feels he can trust, therefore he needs someone that can build rapport quickly whilst setting clear boundaries.
This role is to begin immediately and run until the end of the academic year for the right candidate. This role is in an alternative provision for secondary aged students who have not been able to adapt to the mainstream school environment; it is a small unit of up to 50 children.
