We are recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in the beautiful North London area of Muswell Hill. This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and caring team providing education and activities to children with special needs. You will be rewarded with up to £95 per day for your dedication and hard work.

Previous experience is desirable for the role as we are looking for someone with the right values, approach and attitude. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special needs and who is committed to making a difference. We want someone who is patient, positive and has an understanding of the Early Years Framework and the ability to adapt to different situations.

The successful candidate will be required to work with children with varying needs. You will be responsible for observations and assessments, as well as providing emotional, behavioural and educational support. You will use your creativity and positivity to help children to reach their learning goals and will be part of a team responsible for planning and delivering activities.

  • A high quality classroom practitioner
  • Has the ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their potential
  • Is eager to make a positive contribution to the continued success of our school
  • Is enthusiastic, hardworking, creative and a team player
  • Has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement
  • Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning whilst using effective behaviour management techniques
  • Honest and compassionate
  • DBS checked or happy to complete one
