Teach Now are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our Primary Schools in the area of Barnet, North London. This is a full-time role to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year. My client, a lovely Primary School in Barnet, are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their school on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday.

You will be part of a very dynamic and driven team and you will be provided with numerous opportunities to improve your skills and develop in your career. The school is located very close to various transport links including the Northern Line and the overground line.

The school are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent knowledge of UK Curriculum
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant across KS1 and KS2
  • Understanding of children's development
  • Experience working with children with SEN including ASD, ADHD and EAL
  • Ability to engage and motivate children
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours
  • Ability to be flexible and proactive
