Teach Now are looking for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Archway, North London. This is a long‑term role to start immediately until the end of the academic year. The school is an Ofsted and Diocesan rated Outstanding school with an ethos based on a love of God, respect for one another and respect for the world in which we live. Their school life provides a wealth of opportunities and they seek to inspire the children so they become confident and enthusiastic learners. The chosen candidate must be able to commit completely to the role as continuity is key.

  • Confident to ensure the child is working towards their target by following their IEP
  • Able to deal with the child’s anxiety and other emotional struggles
  • Dedicated, experienced and passionate about child care
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement
  • Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning whilst using effective behaviour management techniques
  • Honest and compassionate
  • Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education
  • DBS checked or happy to complete one
