Midday Supervisor – Specialist Secondary School Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £16–£16.30 per hour Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary Hours: 11:30am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday Start date: Immediate Potential for additional hours

Teach Now is recruiting a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor for a specialist secondary school supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. As a Midday Supervisor, you will help create a safe, calm and positive lunchtime environment. You will support pupils with their routines, eating, social interaction and transitions while encouraging confidence and independence.

The role

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and in communal areas.
• Support pupils with autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.
• Encourage positive social interaction and appropriate behaviour.
• Help pupils follow lunchtime routines and transition back to lessons.
• Respond calmly and consistently to individual needs.
• Work closely with teaching and support staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.

Previous experience in a school, SEND, care or support setting is desirable but not essential.

This position could suit an experienced Midday Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, SEN TA or Support Worker, as well as someone looking to develop their SEND experience.
