Teach Now are looking for a Key Stage 2, Year 3 Teacher to also lead the year group in a primary school based in Waltham Forest, East London. This is a long-term role to start from September 2022 until the end of the academic year. My client is a vibrant, happy and inclusive two-form entry school that serves the local community as a beacon of diversity. The institute’s aim is to ensure that all their pupils have the highest aspirations, reach their full potential and learn all there is to know with a smile on their face. The school is both stimulating and creative. Inclusion is at the heart of their school and they believe that every child has the right to be successful, confident and well-prepared for the world.
The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as continuity is key.
Candidate requirements:- Confident to ensure the child is working towards their target by following their IEP
- Able to deal with the child’s anxiety and other emotional struggles
- Dedicated, experienced and passionate about child development
- Able to commit for the duration of the placement
- Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning whilst using effective behaviour management techniques
- Honest and compassionate
- Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education
- DBS checked or happy to complete one
