- Your responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support, adapting activities to pupils needs.
- Follow EHCPs, individual support plans and behaviour strategies.
- Support emotional regulation, communication, sensory needs and social skills.
- Use visual timetables, now-and-next boards and other personalised resources.
- Help pupils manage transitions and less structured times, including breaktimes.
- Monitor progress and share observations with teachers and the SENCo.

- Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND, particularly autism, SEMH or complex needs.
- A calm, patient and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional support.
- Strong communication skills and the flexibility to work across year groups.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification is desirable.
